If you live in a dorm room, you already know that the wall outlets are oddly positioned, impossible to reach, or there simply just aren't enough of them. One of the easiest ways to fix this is by investing in a power strip.

This one from the well-known and trusted brand Anker has three AC outlets, two USB-A ports and one USB-C port. It's super small and compact, making it easy to take with you on the go. Its small size also keeps it out of the way, avoiding those annoying toe stubs that we all hate.

New Google Feature Will Now Tell You The Best Time, Cheapest Dates To Book A Flight: Here's How

With the holiday season quickly approaching, flight prices are about to skyrocket, which gives way to the age-old predicament of booking your flight now or later when planning travel.

In-swoops Google to be our high-tech superhero and save the day.

There's a new feature Google Flights has unveiled that removes the guesswork and will save you money by letting you know when's the right time to book the flight you might have your eyes on.

And it's all based on its historical flight data, news sources are reporting.

So how does it all work?

In this scenario, let's say a family is planning a vacation to Florida in the winter and would like to purchase their tickets now. Google will tell you whether prices are lower or higher than average at the moment, in addition to when to book the flight for the best deal.

Google Flights has always allowed users to view if current prices are low, average, or high, but now with this new feature, users will be able to book a flight at the best time and save money while doing so, GoBankRates, KSBW and CNBC reported.

Google Flights also does price tracking and will send you an alert when the flight you're considering decreases in price. Additionally, Google Flights has a price-guarantee tool that will give you a refund if the ticket price goes down after you've already booked through the site, KSBW reported.

To use price tracking and price guarantee, be sure you're logged into your Google account.

Then, go to flights.Google.Com on your phone, enter where you'd like to go with the departure dates and tap "Done." Google will then tell you towards the top, before the list of departing flights, whether the prices are typical or not. You can then tap the down arrow to learn more, such as when it's the best time to book.

So if I were you, I'd start packing.

Ovative uses MAP alongside its holistic metric, Enterprise Marketing Return (EMR), to consistently measure and optimize marketing investments. This tool provides the most comprehensive view of a marketing program, combining customer data and advanced modeling to unlock incremental revenue and customer potential.

In an ever-changing market, Ovative uses MAP to overcome industry challenges, including third-party cookie depreciation, navigating increasingly complex data, and platform algorithm changes. By partnering closely with platforms like Meta and Google, and diversifying into newer platforms like TikTok, Ovative has adjusted quickly and exceeded client goals through this new approach.

"We're thrilled to be honored with Digiday's Technology Award for Best Marketing Analytics Platform and to be named a finalist for Best Data Team," says Beth McKigney, Senior Vice President of Measurement at Ovative. "These awards are a testament to our passion for transforming marketing measurement through innovation, and the power of combining technology with a team of experts to drive impact for clients."

In the past two years alone several new brands, including home and holiday superstore, At Home; and leading private online health insurance marketplace, eHealth, joined Ovative's impressive roster.

The Digiday Technology Awards highlight how companies are adopting new technologies in pursuit of highly effective personalization balanced with data privacy. See the full 2023 roster of winners here.
